At 3D Pets, we create figurines, urns, and lithophanes of your pet based on a photo. For this, we need a number of personal data from you. In this privacy policy, we explain in understandable language which data we collect, why we do this, how long we keep it, and what rights you have. This policy applies to all our websites and webshops: 3dpets.be, 3dpets.shop, and 3dpets.store.

1. Who are we?
3D Pets is the data controller for the personal data collected through our websites. This means that we determine which data we collect and for what purpose, and that we are responsible for the careful processing of it according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. What data do we collect?
Order and contact details. When you place an order or contact us, we ask for your name, email address, phone number, and delivery and/or billing address. Without this information, we cannot process or deliver your order.
Photos of your pet. To create your figurine, urn, or lithophane, you send us one or more photos of your pet. We use these photos solely to create your order. We never share them with others and never use them for advertising, social media, or our portfolio, unless you explicitly give us permission to do so in advance.
Account details. If you create an account in our webshop, we will store your login details (email address and encrypted password) and your order history.
Payment details. Payments are processed through an external, secure payment provider. We never see or store your card or bank details; we only receive confirmation that your payment was successful.
Communication. If you email us, call us, or send a message via the website or social media, we will keep that communication to properly follow up on your query.
Newsletter. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will store your name and email address. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of each newsletter.
Surfing and cookie data. When you visit our websites, we collect data about your visit via cookies and similar techniques, such as the pages you view, your device and browser, and how you arrived at our site. You can read more about this in point 6 (Cookies).
3. What do we use your data for?
We only use your data for these purposes, each time with a legal basis:

4. With whom do we share your data?
We never sell your data never to third parties. We only share it when necessary to fulfil your order or to make our websites work, and always with parties that must comply with the GDPR themselves:

Some of these parties (such as Google, Meta and TikTok) may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case, this is done based on the legally provided safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
5. Your data is safe
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, theft or unauthorised access. Think of a secure connection (https) on all our websites, encrypted storage of passwords, and access to customer data that is limited to those who really need it. Payments are processed exclusively through a certified payment provider.
5. Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit our websites. We use:

7. How long do we keep your data?
We never keep your data longer than necessary:

8. Your rights and choices
You have the following rights under the GDPR:
- Access: request to see what data we hold about you;
- Correction: have incorrect or incomplete data corrected;
- Deletion: have your data erased (except for what we are legally required to keep, such as invoices);
- Restriction: temporarily halt the processing of your data;
- Objection: object to the use of your data, for example for marketing;
- Data portability: receive your data in a readable format to take to another party;
- Withdraw consent: to withdraw a previously given consent (e.g. for the newsletter or cookies) at any time.

9. Changes to this privacy policy
We may adjust this privacy policy from time to time, for example when we introduce new services or tools or when legislation changes. The date at the top of this policy always indicates the most recent version. We will inform you of significant changes via the website.
